Bringing hidden battles into the light.
“Addiction” is a cinematic rock single confronting addiction, trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, shame and the struggles people often carry where no one else can see them.
Guerrero’s years overseas gave him greater grace and compassion for those struggling with PTSD, addiction and trauma-related challenges, strengthening his desire to support people carrying invisible wounds.
The song explores how unresolved pain can lead toward destructive ways of coping, including substance misuse, lust, shame and isolation, while ultimately pointing toward hope, healing and renewed purpose.
“The message is not condemnation. It is an invitation to stop hiding and pursue healing.”
A conversation about the battles we hide.
The “Addiction” campaign is designed to encourage honest conversations about trauma, addiction, isolation and recovery — while reminding people that asking for help is a sign of hope, not defeat.
